Information on the purposes of the data processing:
Google ADS cookie
Google ADS cookies are used to display ads that may be of interest to users, to improve advertising campaign performance, and to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses an ID cookie to record which ads are published on which browser and prevents them from being displayed several times. Google ADS cookies also record “conversions”, which refer to certain specific actions the user carries out after clicking on a specific advertisement. However, according to Google, Google ADS cookies do not store information relating to natural persons.
Based on the marketing tools used, your browser automatically creates a direct connection to the Google server.
Please be aware that we have no control over the extent to which Google collects and uses of the data acquired through these tools. We can only state what we currently know i.e., that through the integration of Google ADS, Google is aware that you have visited the corresponding part of our website, or that you have clicked on one of our advertisements. If you are registered on a Google service, the latter can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered on Google or have not logged in, there is still the possibility that the provider can obtain and save your IP address.
You can prevent this tracking process in several ways:
- through a specific setting of your browser, blocking third-party cookies. This means, in particular, that you will not receive advertisements from third-party suppliers.
- by disabling cookies for conversion tracking, setting your browser to block cookies from the domain http://www.googleadservices.com, and
https://www.marketingplatform.google.com, keeping in mind that this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies. - by disabling the ads from suppliers that are members of the self-regulation campaign “About Ads” at http://www.aboutads.info/choices, keeping in mind that this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies.
- through permanent deactivation in Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome browsers. Details on how to do this are available at
http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.
More information on data protection in general is provided by Google at: https://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org. Google adheres to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
However, please be aware that by changing these settings you may not be able to make full use of all the functions available.
The legal basis for the processing your data is Art. 6, Paragraph 1f of the GDPR.
